Connecting older people with care-givers to improve social interactions

SocialChallengeEU-Ageing-pictureThis call for projects is launched by the Croatian Foundation Zajednički put, a non-profit organization - and a member of AGE - dedicated to developing, advocating for and implementing a decent, quality, safe and active life, adapted to the needs and abilities of each individual senior citizen. It aims to support the best sustainable model that will connect individuals with older persons in need of companionship and support for daily practical activities (shopping, medical appointments, bill payment) as well as emotional support. Preference will be given to solutions that include mentoring of the caring process and a preselection process for both parts ('helpers' and senior citizens).

A EU-funded grant of €30,000 will be offered to implement the selected innovative solution.

You will find more information on this call on the Foundation's website and on the Socialchallenges.eu innovation platform.

The foundation's Challenge will be presented on 22nd February 2018 at 10:00 at the Educational and Research Center of the Foundation Zajednički put in Zvonimirova 17, 2nd floor.
