The 15th International Conference for Integrated Care “Complex Needs, Integrated Solutions: Engaging, empowering and enabling people for active and healthy living” took place in Edinburgh, Scotland from 25-27 March 2015. The aim of this conference was to exchange knowledge, experience and new ideas in the design and delivery of integrated health and social care.
This internationally recognised event, hosted International Foundation of Integrated Care (IFIC), in partnership with NHS24 and the Joint Improvement Team of the Scottish Government was attended by more than 500 500 integrated care professionals including policy makers, managers, clinicians, academics and independent, third sector and commercial partners.

AGE Platform Europe was invited to present the work on age-friendly environments of the Action Group D4 of the European Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP AHA).
As part of the INNOVAGE project, AGE also made a presentation on “Putting users at the heart of care: engaging the ‘cared-for’ in integrated innovation”.
