Human Rights and Project Officer

As Human Rights Officer, Apolline is supporting the Human Rights Manager in advocating for a United Nations’ convention on the rights of older persons through the work of the UN Open-Ended Working Group on Ageing. Her works also encompasses the human rights of older persons, ageism/non-discrimination, violence against older women and older LGBTIQ persons, elder abuse, intersectionality, and gender mainstreaming. 

As Project Officer, Apolline is involved in different projects, where her main task is the drafting of EU policy recommendations and organisations of events that target EU policymakers.

Apolline joined AGE in April 2022 after gaining experience in the European Commission and NATO. She holds a Master degree in International Relations and Gender Studies. 

Apolline is currently on sick leave.
