Framework Programmes - FP

Framework Programmes for Research and Innovation (FP): are funding programmes created by the European Union in order to support and encourage research and innovation. The specific objectives and actions of these programmes vary between funding periods. The eighth Framework Programme, called Horizon 2020 (H2020), covering the period 2014-2020, is adapted to the EU’s needs and political priorities in terms of growth and employment (Europe 2020).
