Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing (MIPAA) is a political declaration signed by member states of the United Nations (UN) in 2002 showing their commitment to build a society for all ages.
Medical device is an instrument, apparatus, appliance, software, material or other article used specifically for the investigation, diagnosis, prevention, monitoring, treatment or alleviation of disease, injury or handicap.

Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) defines the EU maximum overall budget for a 7-year period of time and the maximum amounts for each category of spending depending on EU priorities. It sets the framework for calculating the annual budget. The current MFF covers the 2014-2020 period.
