AGE was invited to give a presentation for the final conference of the project Carenet, which worked on the improvement of ICT skills in the long-term care sector. Bearing in mind the legal and ethical framework in which social care is provided in Europe and drawing from the experience of AGE Platform Europe, Nena Georgantzi, Legal Officer, presented older persons’ views on ICT for care and independent living. In addition, she exposed lessons learned from the Home Sweet Home, which finalised a qualitative study on ICT acceptance from the perspective of older users.
