CEOMA points at older women's increased vulnerability

CEOMA_logoOn the occasion of the International Women's Day on 8 March 2019, the Spanish Confederation of Elder People’s Organizations (CEOMA) shed lights on women’s growing vulnerability as they age. Women’s longer life expectancy impacts their health conditions and ability while also increasing the risk of abuse.
CEOMA aims to raise public and political awareness of this type of violation of human rights, based on both age and gender, and encourages everyone who is aware of any case of abuse and mistreatment towards older people to report it to the police.
