AGE Irish member, Age & Opportunities, is part of the ‘Access Europe’, a joint initiative of 13 Irish organisations aimed to build the capacity of Irish organisations to access and manage EU funding to support their projects and activities.
Started in 2013 the project seeks to help civil society organisations to benefit from further engagement in EU programmes. namely in:
- Facilitating access and identification of EU funding opportunities through up-to-date database, regular email alerts and individual advice;
- Providing assistance in applying for EU funding;
- Providing support (training) in managing EU-funded grants
- Helping to increase impact and visibility at EU level
