With the demographic change, new challenges and needs arise from the ageing population. Innovative solutions using new technologies can help to ease older people’s daily life. For example domotics can help control the temperature of a house, an electronic interface can allow permanent contact with health and social carers and an application can hack traffic lights. You may be aware of such innovations that have proven to increase the quality of life in old age.
Through its involvement in the SEED project, AGE wants to promote and reward innovative solutions and raise awareness about the great opportunities that the European Silver Economy has to offer. The innovators (public authorities, entrepreneurs, civil society) interested in applying to the awards, are invited to submit their proposal via the SEED website by 15 November 2017.
We thank you for spreading the word about this award.
