BAGSO draws first lessons from COVID-19 in Germany

BAGSO-positionPaper-COVID-firstLessons-DE-cover In its position paper, BAGSO formulates the first lessons from the coronavirus pandemic in Germany and calls for the living conditions of older people to be sustainably improved.

The pandemic has made the existing challenges faced by older persons visible to everyone and shows that reforms are urgently needed in care, in community work and in other areas of older people’s lives. The BAGSO appeals to politics, the media and civil society to respect the right to self-determination and personal responsibility of older people even in crisis situations.
