On 16-17 April 2015, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the European Commission (DG EMPL) will be holding in Brussels an International Seminar on “Building evidence base for active ageing policies: Active Ageing Index and its potential” and is therefore calling for abstracts until 15 September.
The seminar will look at how to achieve better outcomes through appropriate policies including those that address life course determinants of active and healthy ageing. It will aims to provide a multidisciplinary forum bringing together researchers, civil society representatives, policymakers and other stakeholders. Participation in the event is free of charge and open to all.

A call for abstracts and papers has been launched until 15 September 2014.Submission should be made in English by the author who will attend the seminar and include research material that have not yet been published or submitted for publication.
