Employers’ Hiring of Older Workers and Ageing Policies

On March 21st, AGE was invited to take part in a webinar organised by the Research Programme on Exclusion and Inequality in late Working Life (EIWO).

Entitled “Employers’ Hiring of Older Workers and Ageing Policies”, the webinar intended to provide evidence for policy innovation towards inclusive extended work and sustainable working conditions in Sweden and Europe. Sarah Loriato, AGE’s Policy Officer on Employment presented the results of the Barometer 2023 on sustainable and quality working lives. She gave an overview of the inspiring practices collected by AGE members in their countries that support older workers in the labour market, contribute to the fight against ageism in employment or ensure workplaces for all ages.
