EURAG co-drafts White Paper ‘Making choices for a society for all ages’, available in 9 languages

siforage_project_logo As part of the SIforAGE project, involving a consortium of 17 partners, the European Federation of Older People (EURAG) co-drafted the White Paper “Making choices for a society for all ages“, which brings together recommendations for decision-makers based on evidence from the work carried out during the four-year duration of the Project.

The document, written by Elena Urdaneta and Dirk Jarré with comments by the project consortium was presented during the the SIforAGE International Conference 2016 in Barcelona in October 2016.

This SIforAGE White Paper discusses in around 30 chapters key issues related to ageing in European society and proposes 138 recommendations to decision makers – in various areas and at different levels – having responsibilities in shaping the future of society. These decision makers may be politicians, administrators, market actors, civil society leaders, or decision makers in science and research.

The Paper is available in nine languages: English, French, German, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese and Spanish, which can be downloaded here.

The project team strongly recommends to use the White Paper in communications with decision makers, to discuss it with colleagues and friends, to further disseminate it, and make the best possible use of it.
