This seminar, organised by the European Disability Forum under the auspices of the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the EU, will update participants the stage of implementation of the European Accessibility Act.
Accessibility is promoted on a wide scale within the EU as part of a barrier-free and accessible design for all citizens. This will not only create well-being but also growth potential through new solutions that promote full participation in society by all persons, regardless of their functional disabilities. The topic is closely linked to the EU Presidency theme of a well-being economy.
