The Global Rally is organised by the Global Alliance for the Rights of Older People, as part of the Age With Rights campaign and will take the form of a 24 hour virtual event ahead of the 12th Open-Ended Working Group on Ageing session (OEWG12) due to take place on 11-14th April 2022.
The event is aimed to mobilise existing and new advocates to support the call for a UN convention and to push governments to participate actively and show their support in the upcoming 12th OEWG session.
