AGE UK member TAEN is organising a seminar on issues facing the ageing workforce, seeking to learn lessons by looking beyond the limits of the policy debates in Europe and the UK.
What factors help explain the widely differing ages of exit from the workforces in different countries? What policy opportunities might be suggested by the experience of Japan and other countries in the Far East as well as our closer European neighbours? And how can we gauge the impacts of the multiple variables on the life chances and experiences of ageing populations in different countries of the world? … will be some of the questions discussed.
