The next LSE/TAEN seminar on issues facing the ageing workforce will be held on Thursday 9 March 2017 in the Graham Wallace Room, 5th floor, Old Building, London School of Economics, Houghton Street, London WC2A 2AE.
The questions addressed will be: What factors help explain the widely differing ages of exit from the workforces in different countries? What policy opportunities might be suggested by the experience of Japan and other countries in the Far East as well as our closer European neighbours? And how can we gauge the impacts of the multiple variables on the life chances and experiences of ageing populations in different countries of the world? Lessons should be learned by looking beyond the limits of the policy debates in Europe and the UK.
