CEOMA Celebrates 25 Years of Supporting Older People’s Rights

CEOMA (Confederación Española de Organizaciones de Mayores), AGE Spanish Member, will celebrate its 25th anniversary on 16 December 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
The event will take place in the Ernest Lluch Hall at the Congress of Deputies in Madrid.

The celebration will be chaired by Francina Armengol, President of Congress, and will host key figures such as Pablo Bustinduy, Minister of Social Rights and Agenda 2030, and Elma Sáiz, Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration.

CEOMA will honor its legacy by presenting special awards to individuals, organisations, and media in recognition of their dedication to defending older people’s rights and raising awareness of CEOMA’s mission. The organisation will also honour its past presidents for their contributions over the last 25 years.

Maria Petkova, Vice-President of AGE Platform Europe, will also join the event to mark this special occasion.
