The conference will cover approaches, technologies and services in support of active and healthy aging. Care professionals, developers, suppliers and scientists will be invited to share ideas and results from developing and implementing solutions for prevention, rehabilitation, empowerment of and care for older adults. Experts from Europe, North America and Asia will report on recent developments, achievements within socio-technical efforts to improve care as well as ethical dilemmas between the duty to protect privacy and the duty to empower and provide care for often frail elderly citizens.
