EU Policy update on Transport Accessibility: TSI-PRM and Passenger Rights

In previous months, the EU has proposed different pieces of legislation which aim, among other things, at improving access to transport by persons with disabilities. The new passenger rights proposals aim at improving enforcement and extending passenger rights, such as assistance, to multimodal journeys. The upcoming revision of TSI-PRM will aim at establishing new accessibility requirements for rolling stick and stations. In this webinar, we’ll invite officials from the European Commission to hear what we can expect from these initiatives and how they affect persons with disabilities.

The (draft) agenda is as follows:

  • 14.00 – 14.10 Introduction and housekeeping rules
  • 14.10 – 14.30 Technical Specifications for Rail Interoperability (TSI-PRM)
