Organised as part of the Euskadi Lagunkoia project aimed at promoting age-friendly living environments, this conference will share innovative and creative experiences carried out in European countries and cities, with a focus on the issue of ageism. It will also reflect on the challenges and needs of towns, villages and cities in adapting to the ageing process. For the 5th edition of this conference, the chosen theme is ‘Ageism’.
Moira Allan will represent AGE Platform Europe and our French member organisation Old’Up in the first panel with a presentation entitled ‘From local to global: older people mobilised to combat ageism’.
Federico Armenteros will participate in the second panel on behalf of Fundacio 26 de Diciembre that is also a member of AGE Platform Europe. He will contribute with the perspective of LGBT Elders.
