From 23 November to 1 December, the annual event of the Lifelong Learning Platform proposes 24 workshops relating to lifelong learning with stakeholders, policymakers, practitioners and academics. The main theme for this year is “Key Competences for All: a Lifelong Learning Approach to Skills”
The Lifelong Learning Week aims to raise awareness of the fact that lifelong learning answers many challenges of modern societies if we foster a comprehensive approach to education. We need to build learning societies by making sure that our citizens are fully equipped with the competences they need in the 21st century and recognising that learning is taking place in various contexts – be it formal, non-formal or informal.
