This high-level event organised by the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the EU, the European Commission and the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights becoming a legally binding instrument and reflect on how, with the help of the whole enforcement chain and in particular national authorities, civil society and rights defenders, it can become a meaningful part of everyday life. The event will gather high-level representatives of the Charter’s enforcement chain and in particular, judges, policy makers, enforcement authorities, legal practitioners, and representatives of national human rights institutions, equality bodies, and civil society organisations.
