March for Europe 2017

25 March will mark the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community. On that date, European Heads of State and Government will gather in the Italian capital for an extraordinary European Council. Pro-Europeans and federalists are seizing the occasion to call upon European citizens and civil society organisations to gather in Rome in a “March for Europe” to show support for the European project and to urge for a relaunch of European political unity through the appeal “Europeans, Unite! March for Europe!“. The March for Europe will be preceded by an indoor convention (compulsory registration) with civil society, intellectuals and pro-European and federalist politicians. A programme of the events is available on the website of the March for Europe 2017.
