The workshop will discuss the goals and strategies of political advocacy for older LGBTIQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, and queer) people in Europe and examine existing relevant policies at EU and national levels. Participants will be invited to share their experiences with EU policy structures and European networking on LGBTIQ and age.
The event is organized via the Zoom platform by the Dachverband Lesben und Alter e.V. and the Bundesinteressenvertretung schwuler Senioren (BISS) e.V.
Our colleague, Estelle Huchet, Membership and Campaigns Officer, will be among the speakers to report about the work of AGE Platform Europe in relation to older LGBTI.
