Organised as part of the St@ndbyMe project on digital literacy, this event will explore the challenges that older adults and their caregivers face in a digital world and within the ongoing digital transformation of the public and private sectors. As digitalization grows, educators are essential in promoting digital inclusion and the respect of “digital migrants” rights within the EU framework.
This session will take stock of the ongoing work of the project and discuss a human-rights approach to digital inclusion in older age. Participants can join a workshop on digital literacy and digital exclusion in their countries, highlighting national needs for education in the public sphere, so that citizens can adapt to digitalized environments.
