As part of the 11th session of the UN Open-Ended Working Group on Ageing, AGE will participate in the side event on Strengthening the Protection of the Human Rights of Older Persons in COVID-19 and Beyond organised by the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights. The event will present key findings and preliminary recommendations from the updated OHCHR study on gaps in the equal enjoyment of human rights by older persons, and to discuss a roadmap for greater engagement and collaboration among all stakeholders to support the mandate of the Open-ended Working Group to strengthen the protection of the human rigths of older persons.
