This international conference organised by COFACE, the Confederation of Family Organisations in the European Union, in cooperation with the UN Focal Point on the Family (Division for Social Policy and Development, Department of Economic and Social Affairs), will address the role of family policies in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with a focus on gender equality and women and girls’ empowerment.
The objective of the event is to provide a platform for exchange on good practices in family policies and practical solutions and to foster future exchange and partnerships.
