German Chancellor Olaf Scholz met with the board of BAGSO, AGE member organisation in Germany, on 17 July 2024. The session included the participation of AGE President and BAGSO board member Dr. Heidrun Mollenkopf.
The discussion focused on the work of senior citizens’ organisations in Germany and current issues in older citizens’ policy. The meeting also served as preparation for the 14th German Senior Citizens’ Day, an event supported by Chancellor Scholz, who will attend the opening day. The conference will be held in Mannheim, Germany, from 2 to 4 April 2025.
