i-PROGNOSIS Newsletter #2: Towards accessible health apps

i-PROGNOSIS logo On the eve of the second EU summit on digital innovation for active and healthy ageing, the i-PROGNOSIS consortium – of which AGE Platform Europe is a member – keeps working on the development of a new application through which users will contribute to improve the early detection of Parkinson’s disease.

Technology-based solutions are booming in the medical field, especially given their potential with regard to self-health management. Yet to get everyone on board, specific attention will have to be paid to the accessibility of these digital innovations. The i-PROGNOSIS partnership is committed to building a community as large and representative of society as possible.
