Interactive exhibition fosters artistic exchange between generations in Belgium

NextGenerationPlease!-image_expo Le ‘Gang des Vieux en Colère’ (the ‘angry old people’s gang’) has entered a project that has been selected as part of the art project ‘Next Generations Please’ from the Bozar in Brussels (Belgium). Its title is “Enquêtes de temps” (“Investigations of Time”), referring to time passing by, leaving its traces.

“Enquêtes de temps” is a collection of works by a group of young artists from different art schools in Brussels. They all freely adhered to an idea of the “Gang des Vieux en Colère” which proposed to explore stereotypes and personal feelings linked to age and the ageing process.

The members of the Gang have been immersed in the spirit of liberation of the 1960s, young people are now marching for the climate with the hope of significant economic change. Their work reflects concerns that are ultimately common to both generations.

The exhibition will be open from 29th September to 1st November 2020.
