Mid-career reviews, key to support longer and healthier working lives

Mid-career review-cover Eurofound report 2017 Eurofound has published a new report on mid-career reviews of workers as an important way to support longer and healthier working lives, as recommended by EU policies in order to make our pension systems sustainable and address old-age poverty in an ageing Europe.

Mid-career reviews refer to the assessment of workers at a mid-point in their working life, to make sure that their skills continue to match the job demands, or check whether a change in tasks or career is required, and thus anticipating workers’ future needs.

AGE’s UK member TAEN -the Age and Employment Network has actively contributed to the content of this report.
