On 3 February, ahead of the upcoming EU Day of solidarity between generations, our French member OLD’UP (OLD’UP’s group Europe and the World), organized in partnership with several committed French-speaking associations, an intergenerational day to discuss and reflect on the Europe of tomorrow and encourage people to vote in the run-up to the elections.
The driving spirit was to foster intergenerational dialogue and promote active citizenship, by building on the principles of the EU-funded MEET project (Mobilise Europe = Engaging Together) run together with the European Youth Forum.
The event offered a range of activities designed to inform, inspire, and empower about the European Union and its future, and foster civic participation and engagement. It also allowed attendees to engage with policymakers, decision-makers, and fellow citizens, exchanging ideas and perspectives.
