Contribute to UN consultation on elder abuse

The Independent Expert on the enjoyment of all human rights by older persons will focus her 2023 thematic report to the Human Rights Council on violence, neglect and abuse of older persons. This annual report by the Independent Expert is an important way to raise awareness of the rights violations that older people face and also to suggest ways to address this issue.

NGOs can participate in the call for inputs by 1 March 2023. The Independent Expert is particularly interested in manifestations of elder abuse, national measures of prevention, protection and redress and good practices. You can submit your answers in English, French and Spanish.
