Sign up to help make dementia a European priority!

Sign-Glasgow-DeclarationIn October 2014, Alzheimer Europe launched a campaign to make dementia a European health and research priority. The campaign is based on Alzheimer Europe’s Glasgow Declaration which calls for the development of a European dementia strategy and national dementia plans, greater global collaboration on dementia and increased funding for all types of dementia research.

To date, 5,300 individuals (53% of our target), 97 organisations and 84 policy makers – including 66 MEPs – have signed the Declaration and a final effort is now being made to collect further signatures before the campaign ends on 30 November.

Whether you are an individual, a policy maker or an organisation, you are also invited to sign up and show the European institutions that European citizens and researchers wish greater collaboration on dementia: https://www.alzheimer-europe.org/petition/sign/17969/en

Alzheimer Europe’s Glasgow Declaration is also available in 15 other languages here.
