The UNECE Ministerial Conference on Ageing will take place next 16-17 June 2022 in Rome as part of the 4th review of the implementation of the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing (MIPAA). Read more here

During this conference, older people’s associations and academics organise a Joint Forum of Civil Society and Scientific Research on 15 June. Under the title “A fulfilling life throughout the life-course: A joint effort of civil society and research in policy making”, this Joint Forum will deal with issues connected to the Ministerial Conference’s topics, namely: active and healthy ageing throughout life; equal access to long-term care; support to families and carers; age mainstreaming to advance a society for all ages.

Call for videos on civil society involvement

The Joint Forum is launching a video competition to give a voice to older people, their organisations, and research organisations involving older persons.
In no longer than 3 minutes, the videos should show their work to promote active ageing and well-being in older age. The 10 most interesting videos will be selected by a jury and screened during the Forum and Ministerial Conference.

The videos should be sent to ageplatformitalia@gmail.com by 25 March 2022 (deadline extended)
