What are your passenger rights when travelling in the European Union?
Flight delayed? Train cancelled? Luggage lost or damaged? Many citizens still do not know that in case of problems when travelling in the EU they have rights, which are valid no matter how people travel: by plane, train, bus or ship.
Ahead of the Summer season, the European Commission is launching a campaign to better inform EU citizens of their rights as passengers. Those rights include reimbursement and free-of-charge assistance, e.g. if you have some specific accessibility requirements, as explained in a video on the web page of the campaign.
