AGE Platform Europe’s website uses cookies that improve the performance of the website and provide functionality.

Cookies are files that are downloaded to your computer when you access certain web pages. They are essential for the functioning of the internet, enabling basic functions like page navigation and access to secure areas of the website (Member section). They also provide advantages in the provision of interactive services, facilitating navigation and usability of our website, allowing a web page, among other things, to store and retrieve information about the browsing habits of a user or their equipment and, depending on the information it contains and the way in which it uses its equipment, can be used to recognize the user.

AGE’s website uses Google Analytics with the anonymizer function to get general information about the traffic on our website. To that purpose, a cookie is used to store personal information regarding which sub-pages were visited, or how often and for what duration a sub-page was viewed, the location from which the page was accessed.

AGE newsletter

When you subscribe to our newsletter CoverAGE,  the data you provide (first name, name and email address) are collected for the sole purpose of sending you AGE monthly online newsletter via email and will not be used for any other purpose, nor disclosed to anyone else. This list of contacts is hosted by MailChimp (you can read MailChimp privacy policy here). We also remind you that you can unsubscribe from this distribution list at any moment by clicking on the Unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of our newsletter. Your personal data will then be deleted from our mailing list. If you wish to receive again AGE online newsletter, you will need to subscribe again and enter your personal data.

Member database

Contact details from AGE member organisations are collected on Redhen, Drupal CRM (data base). These data are used to contact and manage AGE members following the purpose of ‘legitimate interests’ in the framework of AGE mission as a European network of older people’s organisations.

The data collected in our data base includes the name of the organisation, its postal address, website and the email address of the contact person, which may be a general info address or a personal address. These data will be kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected. Data of organisations which are no longer part of AGE network are no longer published on AGE website but are kept in our database for two years following their dismissal or resignation. After two years their data is erased from our database.
