A call for applications was launched on 8 June 2017 in Valencia and encouraged ICT-based innovations to take part in the EU Silver Economy Awards, in which AGE is actively involved as part of the SEED project. As a result, 95 applications were submitted, of which 71 were eligible[1] and were transferred to the Phase I, namely the Peer Review Assessment by the members of the Covenant on Demographic Change.
Each application has been assessed by a peer reviewer belonging to his/her category (type of organization). In other words, applications submitted by a public authority were assessed by a Covenant member working for a public authority.
The shortlisted applications sent to the next selection phase are now available here. Keep up with the selection process. The finalists will be known by beginning of April and the winners will be announced at the EU Silver Economy Awards on 3 May at the Committee of the Regions. Registrations are open until 6 April 2018.
