Wide political support of democratic parties to a UN Convention ahead of German elections

BAGSO_logo In view of the upcoming Bundestag elections in Germany, AGE German member organisation BAGSO sent all democratic parties a series of questions enquiring about their respective positions on relevant ageing policy issues.

On its website, BAGSO reports that more or less all parties support the demand for a UN convention on the rights of older people. Only the CDU/CSU made no special comment on this, except a general statement on fundamental rights.
