A European model for sustainable working lives – AGE Annual Conference

AGE-Annual-Conference-2023-visual

We invite you to our 2023 Annual Conference to discuss one of the priorities of the Swedish Presidency: how to enable sustainable and quality working lives for all. The Swedish Minister for Older People, Ms. Anna Tenje, and the Vice-President for Democracy and Demography, Ms. Dubravka Šuica, will be among the participants together with representatives from the research community, international organisations and social partners.

Over the last two decades, AGE has been advocating for age equality, including in employment, with the creation of age-friendly labour markets and working conditions. As a continuation of our advocacy work, our Annual Conference will address the multiple challenges of combating ageism in employment and promoting independent ageing where the skills, experience and aspirations of older workers are recognised and valued. The event will also be the opportunity for our current and potential partners, allies and friends to discuss the first results of the AGE Barometer, to be published in autumn 2023.
